‘Bridge too far’: US judge DENIES Biden’s federal employee vaccine mandate

A Texas judge has thrown Joe Biden’s federal employee vaccine mandate in the trash, as announced Friday, stating the policy was a “bridge too far.” The judge stated the US government cannot require federal employees to be vaccinated, and he blocked Joe Biden from disciplining employees that fail to comply.

The judge’s ruling to toss the Biden administration’s plans for mandatory vaccination has frustrated White House efforts to impose vaccines on unwilling participants. Biden’s order would have required 3.5 million government workers to get vaccinated by Nov. 22, under threat of termination. The judge wasted no time, and didn’t mince his words when he stated, “under the current state of the law as just recently expressed by the Supreme Court, [this] is a bridge too far.”

After the news broke from Reuters, critics of Joe Biden were seen using the hashtag #LetsGoBrandon. The term “Let’s Go Brandon” is a code-word for “Fuck Joe Biden.”
