Canadian police are working around the clock to hunt down a vaccine hesitant man that kidnapped his own child to protect her from the perceived threat of the Covid vaccine. The RCMP have filed charges against the man and an arrest warrant has been issued in his name. The mother is worried about the girl’s safety.
Michael Jackson of Saskatchewan is wanted for allegedly abducting his daughter due to a difference of opinion with his ex-wife over the Covid vaccine. Police are pursuing charges of abduction against Jackson, whose whereabouts are currently unknown. The mother of the child, Mariecar Jackson, wants the child to be vaccinated, and is visibly traumatized by the situation.
Jackson fled with his seven-year-old daughter, Sarah, in mid-November to prevent her from getting jabbed. The girl had been visiting her father when he decided to run off and go into hiding. Tyler Bates, Officer in Charge of the Saskatchewan RCMP South District., made a plea to the lost girl:
“Sarah, we want you to know that you are not in any trouble. Your mom misses you very much and we have police officers doing what they can so you can see her again soon.”
CBC reported that the police have received numerous tips, but they all lead nowhere. Police suspect Jackson is receiving assistance in evading capture. News of Sarah Jackson’s abduction has spread through social media with people expressing shock and dismay at the situation. One mother took to TikTok to draw attention to the kidnapping, describing the situation as “heartbreaking.”
Vaccines are considered to be safe and effective, even for children. While there have been cases of myocarditis reported in teenagers, these cases are extremely rare. Hospitals continue to see an influx of children as the highly contagious Omicron variant spreads through Canada. According to Critical Care Services Ontario, 10 patients under the age of 18 are in intensive care due to Covid this week in Ontario.
