‘Cancel culture crusader’: Nandini Jammi eyes the Daily Wire

Nandini Jammi, a woman that spends her days trying to cancel Conservative-leaning websites, has her eyes on a new target: The Daily Wire.

Nandini Jammi is not very well liked in certain Conservative circles. That is because she and her colleagues at Check My Ads spend their days trying to get right-leaning news sites demonetized. Addressing her Twitter followers on Friday, Jammi labelled a recent Daily Wire article about man-turned-woman that won a sports tournament as a “transphobic attack.” She then asked why tech company Open Web hasn’t dropped the Conservative news site yet.

Previously, Jammi has targeted the right-leaning Post Millennial, as well as Fox News contributor Dan Bongino. In response, Libby Emmons at the Post Millennial labelled her a “cancel culture crusader” and an “Antifa activist.” Jammi’s tactics include publicly labelling Conservative-leaning websites as being “hateful” or containing “disinformation,” often without proof. Advertisers often cave to her requests, presumably out of fear of a PR crisis.

Nandini’s methods fit the textbook definition of cancel culture, which is described as the “phenomenon of promoting the ‘canceling’ of people, brands and even shows and movies due to what some consider to be offensive or problematic remarks or ideologies.”

Unfortunately for the owners of Conservative-leaning publications, Nandini seems to be winning. Both the Post Millennial and Dan Bongino have lost advertisers and access to ad platforms due to the actions of Nandini and her organization. Bongino was booted from Google’s ad platform earlier this year.
