MP Pierre Poilievre announced that he wants to build more pipelines in Canada, running in every direction.
Pierre Poilievre, the likely pick for leader of the Conservative Party, has announced that he wants to build more pipelines in Canada. At a large rally in Calgary Tuesday, Poilievre stated:
“We’re going to clear the way for pipelines. I am going to support pipelines south, north, east, west. We will build Canadian pipelines.”
This runs contrary to the policies of Justin Trudeau and his counterpart in the United States, Joe Biden. Both Biden and Trudeau have taken steps to shut down pipelines, and take jobs from the oil and gas industry.
The crowd at Poilievre’s event on Tuesday was estimated to have over 5,000 people.
