Freedom fighter Tamara Lich, currently imprisoned, is in the process of being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for her work during the Freedom Convoy.
One of the lead organizers of the Freedom Convoy has been recommended for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize by a French-Canadian man named Kim Tsoj.
A petition was sent by Tsoj to the Secretary General of the European Parliament, and was subsequently forwarded to the Committee of Petitions for consideration.
A copy of the correspondence between Tsoj and the European Parliament was posted online. The document was originally shared by independent journalist Andy Lee of Calgary.
During an interview with conservative blog Western Standard, Lich’s mother confirmed the veracity of the document, stating her daughter is in fact in the process of being nominated.
The lead organizer of the Freedom Convoy has been described as a criminal and a seditionist by critics. Despite this, Lich is idolized by many Canadians for the sacrifices she made for Canadian “freedom.”
Not only did Lich help organize one of the biggest protests Canada has seen in recent times, she was arrested, sent to jail, and had her bank accounts frozen for doing so.
Lich is currently in prison for an alleged bail violation. Her supporters maintain that her arrest was motivated by politics. It is important to note that the federal government technically doesn’t direct the police, but law enforcement does have it biases.
There are numerous examples of the federal government interfering in the justice system. For example, Justin Trudeau asked former attorney general Jody Wilson to interfere in a criminal investigation into SNC Lavalin.
It is unclear whether Lich’s nomination will be accepted. In order to nominate someone for the Nobel Peace Prize, one has to meet certain criteria, such as being the member of a national assembly or a national government.
The Nobel Peace Prize was first awarded in 1901, being established by the will of an influential Swedish industrialist.
Alfred Nobel dictated in his will that a special prize should be awarded to one person who has “done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.”
Previously, Tamara Lich was given the George Jonas “Freedom Award” for inspiring Canadians to stand up for their rights and freedoms.
Clarification: An earlier version of this article stated Lich was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. The article was updated to clarify she is in the process of being nominated for the award, and a petition has been received by the European Parliament. The article was updated on Jul. 3 to add additional context. Read more about our editorial standards.

Good news story, thanks for sharing. I hope she wins.

I second this nomination, and I also nominate Pastor Artur Pawlowski for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Brenda Brown
I hope she wins not only does she deserve the Nobel Peace Prize but it would also open the eyes of the Canadians that still believe Trudeaus liberals and the NDP’s lies.
Cindy Young
Do you guys seriously think she has a chance?! There are thousands if not millions of others more deserving than this trashy woman.
She broke her bail conditions. She is not above the law. She’s racists and fans the flames of hate.
Chris Cross
You are entitled to your opinion…even if you are ill-informed.

the only person i see fanning the flames of hate is you. Tamara is charged with Mischief yet sexual predators are free on bail. If you do not see the problem with that . I feel sad for you.

No she’s not nominated,

Unless u were there or know personally someone who was no one has a right to share a negative opinion on the Freedom Convoy. I do know someone who was there and I know someone who was directing communications amongst the truckers. That was the very epitome of peaceful protest and every trucker out there deserves at the very least a hug for standing up for our rights and freedoms in the Charter. My flag still flies proudly on my car. Daily we are becoming a Communist country and largely people aren’t seeing it and believing the lies we are being told in many areas.
