Podcaster Viva Frei slams Dean Blundell for spreading hatred

Disgraced former radio host Dean Blundell is struggling to make himself relevant again after losing his job many years ago.

Dean Blundell is once again at the centre of attention, but for all the wrong reasons. This time, it’s for spreading “hate” about Conservative politician Pierre Poilievre.

At the end of June, Blundell shared a picture of Poilievre, calling the sitting MP the “leader of the alt-white Jesus freaked extremist wiener brigade.”

Podcaster Viva Frei pushed back on Sunday, reminding Blundell that Poilievre’s wife is Venezuelan, then proceeded to call him a “shameless, hate-spewing moron.”

This is not the first time Blundell has spread hate and misinformation. The disgraced radio host was fired from his job in 2014 for making homophobic comments on air.

Blundell has a history of making sexual jokes about children, advocating for violence against women, and spreading baseless conspiracy theories.

The former shock jock has a habit of accusing his political enemies of being “Russian assets.” Blundell currently runs a low traffic blog that publishes unverified rumours and fake news.

Earlier this year, Blundell drew the ire of right-wingers for distributing hacked information about donors to the Freedom Convoy. For this, he was labelled a “snitch” by blogger Ian Miles Cheong.
