Prime Minister Poilievre made it clear to Canada he’s no fan of racists.
The Liberal media continues its attacks on the lead contender for the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC).
This time, left-wing smear merchant Rachel Gilmore is using a picture of Pierre Poilievre shaking hands with white nationalist Jeremy Mackenzie to tarnish his reputation.
In response to this attack, Poilievre released a statement indirectly rejecting Mackenzie and denouncing racism.
“It is impossible to run a background check on every single person who attends my events. As I always have, I denounce racism and anyone that spreads it,” a press release by Poilievre states.
Jeremy Mackenzie is a white nationalist and anti-Semite that has called for violence against journalists. He has a history of overt anti-Semitism, as is evidenced by clips of his podcasts found on social media.
Jeremy Mackenzie is facing charges for weapons offences in Nova Scotia. He has been accused of pointing a gun at a man while intoxicated. Mackenzie previously advocated for a violent overthrow of the government.
This is not the first time Rachel Gilmore has tried to smear Poilievre’s reputation. Earlier in the summer she spread a misleading story, falsely linking anti-mandate activist James Topp to far-right extremism.
While it has come to light that James Topp and Jeremy Mackenzie have met with each other in real life, that information was not publicly available at the time of Gilmore’s original report.
