The next time someone tells you Antifa is non-violent, show them this decision from a Canadian judge.
Superior Court judge David Dwoskin has determined that Antifa is a “violent” movement, according to a judgement released today.
In 2019, podcaster Jonathan Kay was sued for libel by CAHN board member Richard Warman for linking the Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) to Antifa.
The claim was dismissed after the judge found Kay’s comments to be accurate. The judge also noted that Warman has a history of using litigation to “silence” his critics.
Antifa has been known to use violence to silence and intimidate its political opponents.
In 2020, a member of Antifa was accused of murdering a Trump supporter in Oregon. He was later shot dead by police.
