Twitter users have been sharing a picture of the United States president and the Canadian prime minister with a bald man standing in the background. Some have claimed this man is political advisor Gerald Butts.
On closer inspection, the man appears to be Mr. Charles Michel, the president of the European Council. Formerly, he was the prime minister of Belgium, serving from 2014 to 2019.
While the two men do look very similar, Gerald Butts has hair, while Charles Michel does not. Furthermore, Gerald Butts denied being in Cambodia, saying he is currently in Singapore.
The political advisor signed off by taking a stab at billionaire Elon Musk, “even the conspiracy theories are lamer on Elon’s Twitter.”
