Reports of the second Freedom Convoy being cancelled are fake news, according to one of the convoy organizers.
The Freedom Convoy scheduled for February in Winnipeg will continue as planned, despite fake news reports from the mainstream media.
Social media was abuzz Monday with reports of the second iteration of the Freedom Convoy being cancelled. However, at least one organizer says that the protest will proceed as planned despite “infighting.”
Ron Clark, one of the protester organizers, reported that the protest is continuing despite the departure of co-organizer James Bauder. This detail was reported by the Ottawa Citizen, but conveniently ignored by other mainstream networks.
The original Freedom Convoy held in Ottawa in early 2022 was described as “largely peaceful” by the New York Times.
