An acclaimed journalist has left her job at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Natasha Fatah, a journalist that is praised on both sides of the political spectrum, is leaving her job at CBC.
Early Monday morning, Fatah announced to her 100,000 plus followers that she would be taking a “leave from work.”
Natasha’s father, Tarek Fatah, is suffering from cancer, and she has left her job to take care of her elderly relative.
Tarek is a columnist with the Toronto Sun and vocal critic of extreme Islam, winning him accolades with Conservatives.
He previously survived a bout of cancer. Unfortunately, it appears the cancer has returned again.
Fatah has not stated when she plans on returning to CBC.
She ended her post by saying, “call your dad, he misses you.”
