Majority of Canadians disapprove of Trudeau, Poilievre predicted to win next election – poll

Recent polling predicts that Justin Trudeau’s days as prime minister are numbered.

Over half of Canadians disapprove of the job Justin Trudeau is a doing as prime minister, according to an online poll conducted by Morning Consult.

54% of Canadians disapprove of the prime minister, while only 39% approve of what Trudeau is doing with the country.

Pierre Poilievre’s party has the best chance of winning the most seats in the next election, according to a model by 338 Canada.

The Conservative Party (CPC) has a 63% chance of winning the most seats, while the Liberal Party (LPC) only has a 36% chance.

The CPC is predicted to win a minority in the next election, with only an 8% chance of winning a majority.

The next election is Pierre Poilievre’s to win, if the polls are a reliable indicator.

Justin Trudeau continues to face immense backlash for alleged conflict of interest and corruption allegations.

He is currently under fire for turning a blind eye to Chinese interference in Canadian democracy and for allegedly having ties to agents of the Chinese Communist Party.

Additionally, Trudeau has been caught red-handed accepting gifts from donors with questionable motivations.

These scandals are likely factors for Trudeau’s slump in the polls and may tip the next election in Poilievre’s favour, giving Canadians a change in governance.

Some Canadians, and even some Conservatives MPs, have called for a criminal investigation into Trudeau for a litany of crimes.
