CBC writer and ‘comedian’ gets humiliated for insulting Pierre Poilievre

Unfunny comedian Clare Blackwood makes a strong case for defunding Trudeau’s broadcaster.

An otherwise irrelevant comedian is getting her 15 minutes of fame after she insulted Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre.

Clare Blackwood, a writer for the publicly-funded CBC, wrote on Twitter that the thought of Pierre Poilievre makes her cry.

This comment lead to backlash from Poilievre supporters, criticizing her for her obvious bias against Conservatives.

In response to her insensitive and provocative remarks, Twitter users slammed the “comedian” for not being funny.

Some took it a step farther and used more vulgar terms to describe the writer.

Blackwood claims she was called a “communist bitch,” “liberal cunt,” and a “CBC whore.”

The comedian presented a screenshot of one e-mail she allegedly received as proof.

Later Blackwood shared a BlogTO article that cites her tweets and some of the responses.

Alongside the article, Blackwood shared another “joke” about Poilievre, writing “Poilievre can still stuck[sic] it.”

It’s not clear whether the CBC writer meant “stick it” or “suck it.”
