The woke left continues its attacks on Canadian culture, this time coming after moms on Mother’s Day.
Did you plan on wishing your mom a happy Mother’s Day? Be careful not to announce that publicly, or the woke left may come after you.
One school in Toronto learned this the hard way. Kew Beach Junior Public School was pressured into changing a sign outside its doors that referenced mothers.
It read: “Life does not come with a manual. It comes with a mom.”
Naturally, left-wing radicals took issue with this sign and complained on social media. The school took action and promptly removed all references to moms.
The sign now contains “an encouraging acronym for May,” according to a statement by the school.
Toronto is not the only city that has faced calls for the cancellation of Mother’s Day.
A school in Quebec City is under fire after teachers replaced Mother’s Day with a “celebration of parents.”
Conservative party leader Pierre Poilievre slammed the woke left for trying to “delete Mother’s Day.”
Poilievre criticized the ideology as being “ugly and weird.” If elected prime minister he promises to push back against these attacks on Canadian culture and traditions.
