The media ADMITS Pierre Poilievre likely to be Canada’s next prime minister

More and more mainstream media outlets are turning on Trudeau, this time the Globe and Mail.

John Ibbitson, a journalist employed by the Globe and Mail, told Canadians what most conservatives already know: that Poilievre will likely be the next prime minister of Canada.

This is based on recent polls that suggest Poilievre is Canada’s preferred candidate, and the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) is their preferred party.

Toronto 99 has previously reported on polling that suggests Poilievre is likely to win the next federal election.

What is notable is not the fact that the mainstream media told people the truth, which it sometimes does. Rather, it’s the fact that the MSM seems to be turning on Trudeau.

Canada’s prime minister has tried to influence the country’s major media outlets, dangling hefty media bail-outs as a way to coerce the mainstream media to produce positive coverage of himself.

While mainstream media outlets have reported negatively on the prime minister, bail-outs from the government have lead many Canadians to question the impartiality of outlets that receive them.

Even some journalists and columnists have spoken out against the bail-outs, despite their employers directly benefitting from them.

At one point, the prime minister “joked” that he bribed the media in order to obtain positive coverage. Clearly, his “joke” did not go over well with many taxpayers.

Now that the mainstream media appears to be acknowledging Trudeau’s impending defeat, many Canadians are crossing their fingers, praying the polls are accurate.

In politics, nothing is inevitable, and by the time of the next federal election, circumstances could have changed,” Ibbitson fairly states in his article.

However, if Trudeau continues to sabotage his popularity, as he has so successfully done in the last few months, a Poilievre government is all-but inevitable.

Even Trudeau’s well-funded propaganda apparatus won’t be able to save him if he continues to shoot himself in the feet, as he has with his fumbling of the Chinese interference scandal that continues to unfold.
