Groomers and pedophiles will be met with opposition, even if they target children in small towns.
A group of counter-protesters arrived Saturday in Cannington, Ontario, to crash what they see as a “child grooming” event.
Conservatives are pushing back against events organized by the Durham Children’s Aid Society, known as Drag Queen Storytime.
“The family-friendly program will showcase stories featuring diversity and inclusion,” a flyer for the event reads.
One person described the event as “Satan storytime.”
Counter-protesters are concerned that the event exposes young children to sexualized themes, and is run by pedophiles and sexual predators looking to groom kids.
Events of this nature have been banned in the state of Montana. Other states have moved to make these types of shows illegal.
