As Canada burns to the ground, criminals continue to intentionally light fires.
Vancouver Police are hunting down arsonists after a dozen fires were lit intentionally in one day.
This comes as large parts of Canada burn to the ground due to massive wildfires.
Canadian wildfires have become front page news all over the world, and arsonists with questionable motivations are doing nothing to help the situation.
This is not an isolated incident. RCMP in various parts of Alberta are searching for suspects in a string of arsons, having already made several arrests.
One man was arrested in Calgary for starting a “brush fire” in the neighbourhood of Inglewood after confessing to police.
Likewise, RCMP in Nova Scotia are looking for suspects after a string of suspicious fires north of Halifax.
“Jail the arsonists and eco terrorists and put an end to this,” wrote one angry Canadian on Twitter in response to reports of mass arson in Vancouver by the fire department.
Alberta premier Danielle Smith suspects arson is to blame for a number of fires in her province, calling on outside experts to help conduct investigations.
