Staff in the Public Safety Minister’s office knew that the notorious serial killer would be moved to a less secure prison.
The media has done a 180, and decided to expose the truth about the Paul Bernardo scandal: Trudeau and his Safety Minister knew about the move well in advance, but did nothing to stop it.
A recent exposé states that staff in Marco Mendicino’s office knew the serial killer would be moved to another prison as early as March.
The CBC article also states that Mendicino’s staff didn’t notify him about the transfer. However, it is unlikely that staff would forget to inform Mendicino about such a high-profile move.
It is more likely that Mendicino and Trudeau became aware of the move shortly after the minister’s office was notified.
Senator Leo Housakos found Mendicino and Trudeau’s foreknowledge of the transfer to be “outrageous,” and is demanding that Mendicino resign.
Liberals recently voted “no” to a motion that would order prison officials to keep dangerous mass murderers in maximum security prisons.
In response to the “no” votes, Liberals have been accused of standing with the serial killers and against the victims of crime.
The CBC has a left-wing bias, and is known to report favourably on the Trudeau government. However, the outlet sometimes reports negatively on the prime minister and other Liberal politicians.
