Toronto shelter system pushed past capacity after Trudeau turns back on refugees

After promising refugees a better life, the Canadian prime minister has left them to live like animals.

Toronto’s shelter system has been pushed far past capacity as refugees and asylum seekers flood the city. This come as city officials beg the Trudeau government for more resources.

While the Canadian prime minister likes to sell Canada as the best country in the world, the reality for many refugees and asylum seekers is not dissimilar to that which would be experienced in third world countries.

We need to acknowledge that Toronto’s shelters are full. There are currently over 3,300 refugees in the shelter system, and that number is expected to continue [to] rise,” according to a statement from Toronto mayor and Chinese asset Olivia Chow.

Refugees and asylum seekers are being turned away from city-run shelters, and are being told to seek federal assistance, as is being reported by local media.

However, Trudeau’s Liberals have repeatedly refused to provide Toronto with more cash and resources to deal with the situation.

Even the left-leaning Toronto Star, described as a “commie rag” by critics, called the prime minister out in an opinion piece published earlier in the summer.

Refugees forced to live on the streets of Toronto is a national disgrace. Justin Trudeau’s Liberals should wear it,” wrote columnist Matt Elliott.
