Canadians are sick and tired of being told to take boosters, according to a recent survey.
A majority of British Columbians are rejecting the flu shot this year, with just under half rejecting another Covid booster, according to a recent poll by Abacus Data.
The mainstream media has blamed the disinterest in getting vaccinated on “vaccine fatigue.” This includes Global News, an outlet with a history of publishing biased and inaccurate information about conservatives.
“After consecutive years intensely focused on vaccines due to the pandemic, British Columbians may be inclined to tune out this year,” according to a press release by Christine Antler, region director for the organization Pharmacy for Pharmasave.
The big pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer and Moderna, have a vested interest in pushing the flu and Covid vaccines. More vaccine sales means more money for the companies and higher returns for their shareholders.
While a majority of Canadians are not vaccine-resistant, many people stopped taking Covid boosters after their second dose. This has frustrated big pharmaceutical companies that want to continue making record profits.
