Post-secondary institutions in Canada are rife with woke professors that promote anti-Semitism and Islamic extremism.
Dr. Jessica Hutchison, a professor of social work at Wilfrid Laurier University in Southern Ontario, has openly shown support for the recent terrorist attacks carried out by Islamic extremists in Israel.
“I hope your upcoming acknowledgments will include support for Palestinians who are taking their land back from settler colonizers,” the far-left professor wrote in a post to X (Twitter) Saturday. The post has been archived here.
Her post comes on the heels of one of the worst terrorist attacks on Israel in recent years. Hamas is accused of firing thousands of missiles into Israel on the holiday of Simchat Torah, as was reported by the Associated Press.
In response to her post, criminal lawyer Leora Shemesh labelled the professor as “disgusting” saying she should “never reach any young minds.”
Dr. Hutchison is open about her far-left political ideology. On her employer’s website she is described as someone who is a “white settler, abolition feminist, and activist-scholar who is deeply committed to dismantling racist and colonial systems that perpetuate harm and violence.”
The director of Dr. Hutchison’s department at Wilfred Laurier was contacted for comment, but did not provide an immediate response.
