Poilievre pushes for criminal investigation into Trudeau’s ‘ArriveScam’

The ArriveCan app scandal could result in serious criminal charges against the prime minister of Canada.

The leader of the Conservative Party (CPC) continues to pressure the RCMP to investigate the Liberal government, including Justin Trudeau, for fraud and other major criminal offences in relation to the ArriveCan app.

CPC leader Pierre Poilievre brought the issue to the House of Commons, asking whether prime minister Trudeau will co-operate with authorities as they look into potential wrongdoing.

Like usual, Trudeau dodged the question, resorting to name-calling. Toronto 99 previously reported on how Conservative MP Michael Barrett accused Trudeau of corruption, referring to the controversial travel app as the “ArriveScam.”
