Calgary Police are warning residents to avoid the downtown core after a pro-Hamas rally turned violent on Sunday afternoon.
“We are asking the public to avoid the downtown core as we continue to manage the ongoing demonstration,” warned the Calgary Police on its X (Twitter) page.
This comes as massive pro-Hamas rallies break out in major cities in the Western world, with participants calling for the destruction of Israel and the mass murder of Jews.
The Israel-Palestine conflict incentivized terrorist supporters across Canada to publicly declare their support of various radical Islamic organizations.
Taliban flags were seen waving in Mississauga. Jewish people were targeted in their homes in Toronto. Jewish schools have been shot at by unknown gunmen in Montreal, as was reported by the Montreal Gazette.
Politicians and union officials have voiced support for Hamas in its battle against the Israeli state. Toronto 99 previously reported on how Ontario premier Doug Ford slammed CUPE Ontario president Fred Hahn for his support of terrorism.
