Canada’s biggest douchebag has found himself in serious legal trouble.
Dean Blundell, the infamous former radio host that was fired for homophobia, defamed the wrong person and has found himself at the end of a serious defamation lawsuit.
Blundell’s name began to trend on X (Twitter) Monday after claiming that him and his blog, Crier Media, are being sued by Jeff Ballingall and Canada Proud for “defamation.”
The former radio host made these claims on a recently launched GoFundMe fundraiser. The fundraising page fails to explain what statements Blundell made that were defamatory, or any other details surrounding the lawsuit.
Today, we were sued by Canada Proud. An organization that willingly spreads political and cultural disinformation across Canada on behalf of its clients.
Jeff Ballingall and Canada Proud are personally suing Dean and Crier Media for “Monetary Losses” and “Damages” for embarrassing them and hurting their reputation.
Toronto 99 previously reported on Blundell and his long history of bad behaviour, ranging from sexist remarks to sexualizing 12-year old kids.
The former radio host drew the ire of conservatives after he helped dox donors to the Freedom Convoy in early 2022 after the information was leaked by a hacker.
Ballingall was contacted by Toronto 99 staff and asked about the lawsuit, but he did not provide an immediate response.
