The premier of Alberta continues to fire back at convicted climate criminal Steven Guilbeault.
As the Minister of the Environment, Steven Guilbeault, introduces new methane emissions rules, Danielle Smith has vowed to continue fighting for the best interests of Albertans.
Guilbeault wants to stop the controlled release or burning of methane from oil and gas production sites by 2030, as was reported by the Calgary Herald.
However, the Albertan premier has no plans of playing ball with the Liberal government’s green agenda. “Alberta will continue to oppose [Guilbeault’s] illegal and unconstitutional ideas,” Smith wrote Monday on X (Twitter).
Smith has been at odds with the federal government in Ottawa since taking control of the province. She recently won the provincial election, despite consistent attacks by the left-wing media and some right-wing outlets.
