BETRAYAL: Trudeau government fails to house refugees in Toronto

The Liberal government let in refugees, only to let them sleep on the streets.

Toronto-area churches that provided housing services to refugees are closing down due to lack of funding from the federal government, according to a report by local media.

Staff employed at the shelters report having mental breakdowns from the stress of trying to accommodate refugees without adequate government support.

Reverend Eddie Jjumba, a local Toronto pastor that oversees some of the shelter efforts, expressed his dismay at the Trudeau government for not doing enough to support refugees its government allowed into the country.

“It’s almost like a betrayal and a big disappointment from the government, because we didn’t think it was too much to expect. We are not able to sustain the operational costs of this arrangement.”

The Trudeau government has allowed the country’s biggest city to be flooded with refugees, many of which are sleeping on sidewalks or inside subway stations.

When the Toronto’s socialist mayor Olivia Chow begged the federal government for more funds earlier in the year, it shrugged its shoulders and said it was unwilling to help.

This comes as food banks begin to run low on supplies, going as far as to refuse service to international students, some of which have been caught taking advantage of their generosity.
