Freedom Convoy organizers are fighting back against Trudeau’s tyranny.
Tamara Lich, along with other organizers of the Freedom Convoy, have filed lawsuits against the federal government for alleged Charter violations.
The lawsuits were announced Wednesday by lawyer Keith Wilson on X (Twitter). Wilson practices constitutional law, and advised organizers of the Freedom Convoy on matters including donations.
“On the 2-year anniversary of the Federal Government illegally invoking war measures against its citizens and targeting key protestors in Ottawa by freezing their bank accounts, today [convoy organizers] have filed lawsuits against the Federal Government,” wrote Wilson on X.
A copy of the statement of claim was uploaded to X by Wiretap Media. Toronto 99 reached out to Wilson to obtain a copy of the statement of claim, but did not receive an immediate response.
Lich is currently on trial facing criminal charges for her role in organizing the Freedom Convoy. She has plead not guilty.
The ongoing criminal case has been described by Lich’s supporters as a political prosecution by the Trudeau government.
