Polls indicate that people are unhappy with the current state of the country.

Further, a majority of Canadians believe that the country is in decline, according to another poll by Ipsos.

54% of Canadians believe the country is in decline, while only 17% disagree.

Conservative Party (CPC) leader Pierre Poilievre has made fixing Canada an election promise, vowing to undo the mess his political rival Justin Trudeau has created.

Poilievre recently committed to cutting “wasteful” foreign aid, and increase NATO spending, as was reported by the Canadian Press.

Toronto 99 previously reported on Poilievre’s rise in the polls. A recent survey by Nanos suggests the CPC has a 16-point lead over the Liberal Party.
