The CPC leader wants to put Canadians first and foreign dictators and terrorists last.
Conservative Party (CPC) leader Pierre Poilievre says he wants to cut foreign aid, and redirect money back to Canada’s military, as was reported by the Canadian Press.
Poilievre slammed foreign aid as “wasteful,” and worries that Canadian tax dollars are funding “dictators, terrorists and multinational bureaucracies.”
“[Trudeau’s] plan for national defence is to rely on Joe Biden or Donald Trump to protect Canada. That puts America in charge of Canada’s future — I don’t want that.”
Poilievre’s statement come as recent polls indicate that a majority of Canadians believe society is “broken” and the country is in decline, as was reported by Toronto 99.
