The Canadian prime minister is slowly running out of friends, and rightfully so.
By and large, the Canadian public has had enough of Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, as has been reported on extensively by Toronto 99.
Now, even left-biased outlets such as the Toronto Star are admitting what most people already knew: nobody wants to have a beer with Justin Trudeau.
That is the name of a column published Tuesday by columnist Emma Teitel. She cites recent polls that indicate Trudeau’s Liberal Party is falling out of favour with voters.
Teitel then acknowledges that millennials are “nearly twice as likely” to vote for Poilievre’s Conservatives than they are for Trudeau’s Liberals.
Trudeau continues to earn the scorn of every day Canadians. 2023 saw him face a split from his long-time wife. It was recently revealed that she started seeing another man at least a few months before their announced separation.
The prime minister continues to search for explanations for the failed ArriveCan app, as a criminal investigation unfolds, potentially sending him or at least some of his subordinates to prison.
While it is unlikely Trudeau will ever see the inside of a prison cell, more and more Canadians are warming up to the idea of the sitting prime minister facing criminals charges for at least one of his alleged crimes.
