FEAR PORN: Media raises alarm over ‘bird flu’

Just as the Covid-19 hysteria begins to wear off, the media has a new virus it wants us to be afraid of.

Covid-19 is out. Bird flu is in. Media outlets, including the NY Post and the Daily Mail, have begun to sound the metaphorical alarm over the latest virus it wants people to worry about.

A recent article by a Murdoch-owned tabloid begins by stating:

A bird flu pandemic with the potential to be “100 times worse than COVID” may be on the horizon after a rare human case was discovered in Texas, experts have warned.

The H5N1 avian flu has spread rapidly since a new strain was detected in 2020, affecting wild birds in every state, as well as in commercial poultry and backyard flocks.

Another article published Tuesday by British tabloid the Daily Mail cites a former FDA advisor, telling people which foods not to consume during the alleged outbreak.

However, many remain unconvinced, stating that they won’t fall for the same scare tactics that were employed during the Covid-19 pandemic that began in 2020.

While the virus killed millions of people worldwide, critics argued the pandemic was used as an excuse to violate the constitutional rights of people in Western countries, most notably Canada.
