Hotdog combo goes for $30 as inflation SKYROCKETS in Canada

Food prices in Canada have gotten out of control under the Liberal government.

A hotdog combo at the Rogers Centre in Toronto is selling for $30.78, as food prices continue to soar across the country.

A chicken tender combo costs $30.28 and a glass of draught beer costs $17.59, as was shown in a viral video posted by an upset Blue Jays’ fan.

This comes amid skyrocketing inflation under the Trudeau government, which has seen food prices continuously rise since the Covid-19 pandemic.

One factor in rising food prices is the carbon tax, an unpopular policy that increases the cost of fuel that is used to ship items across Canada.

Alberta premier Danielle Smith and other premiers have called a meeting with the Trudeau government over the issue, but it continuously refuses.

Conservative Party (CPC) leader and prime minister hopeful Pierre Poilievre has promised to remove the carbon tax if he is elected in 2025.

Recent polls show the CPC with a 20-point lead over Trudeau’s Liberal Party, which has been blamed by Canadians for the poor economic conditions in the country.
