The climate change narrative continues to unravel.
All of the wildfires seen in Alberta this year were caused by “human” activity, according to the province’s minister for forestry and parks.
“We expect that almost all of the wildfires we’ve experienced so far this year are human caused, given the point we’re at in the season and the types of weather we’re seeing,” minister Todd Loewen said on Wednesday.
While Loewen stopped short of blaming the outbreak of wildfires in the province on arsonists, police continue to hunt for suspected fire-starting criminals across Alberta.
RCMP in the town of Olds are searching for suspects after a suspected arson occurred earlier in the week. This is one out of many fires started by criminals in the province.
