BC mayor gets CANCELLED over book questioning residential schools

Having the wrong book can cost you your job in Trudeau’s Canada.

The mayor of Quesnel, British Columbia has been stripped of privileges and banned from city committees for the crime of possessing the wrong book, in the latest example of left-wing cancel culture.

Mayor Ron Paull is under fire from city councillors for owning a book that questions the mainstream narrative surrounding residential schools, as was reported by local media.

Paull denies reading the book, and says he simply showed it to a couple colleagues after a meeting. However, this perceived thought-crime was punished by stripping him of his travel and lobbying budgets.

“This is all based on a misunderstanding,” said the mayor in his defence before the city voted to strip him of his privileges. “I have not [even] read the book.”

Mainstream media reports about “mass graves” found near residential schools lead to widespread outrage across the country, and a series of arsons against churches. Most of these crimes have gone unsolved.
