Poilievre promises DEEP income tax cuts

Trudeau’s biggest rival continues to push policies that will benefit Canadians.

Conservative Party (CPC) leader Pierre Poilievre has promised to cut the income tax once elected prime minister, vowing to allow Canadians to keep more of their hard-earned money.

We’re going to cut income tax so that working people bring home more of each dollar they earn and they can afford food,” Poilievre said during an exclusive interview with the Toronto Sun.

“I’ve said it many times, we will be cutting income tax. We have to because the working poor can’t afford to pay their bills because they lose so much. You make it and Trudeau takes it. We have to cut taxes to reward hard work.”

Cuts to income tax are proposed on top of the promised cuts to the controversial carbon tax, which has contributed to skyrocketing grocery store prices.

Poilievre promises to gut wasteful government spending, including Trudeau’s broadcaster, the CBC. Toronto 99 has reported extensively on the “news” company’s history of failed fact-checks and defamation payouts.
