Canada Day is CANCELLED in Montreal after feds slash funding

CANCELLED: Justin Trudeau and his minions have cancelled Canada Day in Montreal, after they just gave Pride organizers millions. Are you paying attention yet? #TrudeauMustGo

Justin Trudeau continues to push his twisted post-nationalist agenda.

Montreal’s beloved Canada Day parade has been cancelled, as was announced by the organizer Nicholas Cowen Sunday night.

Cowen stated that due to lack of funding and interference from the federal government, he had no choice but to cancel the parade, according to a press release.

The organizer claims that the Trudeau government in Ottawa made organizing the parade “virtually impossible,” and that he believes “politics” played a role in their decision to slash funding and set up roadblocks.

Canada Day celebrations have been under attack by left-wing politicians in recent years. Last year Calgary mayor Jyoti Gondek cancelled Canada Day fireworks, changing course only after public outrage.

The left-wing mayor of Toronto, Olivia Chow, has made similar attempts to cancel Canada Day celebrations in the city’s downtown core.

Commentator Spencer Fernando has criticized Trudeau for wanting to turn Canada into a “post-national state,” a country without a core identity.

Writing in an article published earlier this year, Fernando stated, “Trudeau has always been more drawn to dictatorships like Communist China and Communist Cuba, and he clearly sees the Anglosphere and Western Civilization as negative forces in the world. And so, Trudeau has sought to erase Canada’s identity as a Western nation.”

Toronto 99 previously reported on how the Trudeau government gave Pride organizers millions of tax dollars for security.
