VIDEO: Political commentator suggests B.C provincial election was rigged

The delay in the results for the recent B.C election has lead to speculation the process is being rigged.

The recent provincial election in British Columbia may have been rigged, as was suggested by political commentator David Simieritsch in a viral video posted to YouTube.

Simieritsch runs a political YouTube channel under the name Moose on the Loose, and boasts over 66k subscribers. He is based out of British Columbia, according to his profile on X (Twitter).

“Something stinks, something’s fishy,” Simieritsch states in the video as he raises concerns about the mail-in votes and how they may unfairly tip the election in the NDP’s favour.

This just getting out of control.”

Many of the comments on the video are from people that believe the vote was rigged. “That BC election is so sketchy. New revote I say with paper ballots. Open your eyes people,” wrote one poster.

As the votes continue to come in, the lead by the NDP continues to grow, as is being reported by the Canadian Press.

Recounts are being held in two ridings in the province, Juan de Fuca-Malahat and Surrey City Centre, with the results to be posted online when the counting is finished.

However, not everyone on the conservative side is convinced that the election is being rigged. A notable example is Spencer Fernando, who publishes a right-leaning blog under his name.

The B.C. Election is not being rigged. Votes are being counted. If your party loses, that doesn’t make the process illegitimate,” wrote Fernando to his near 100k X followers Saturday night.

If you lose, learn from it and figure out how to do better next time.”

Aside from rampant social media speculation, there is no evidence at this time that the NDP or any other political party in British Columbia is engaged in voter fraud.

Elections B.C has a system in place to protect and maintain election integrity, which it outlines on its website.

It is considered a “serious offence” to knowingly lie when registering to vote, according to the information page provided by Elections B.C.

Absolutely. The vote counting system being used, Dominion. Is the same one that was created by the Cartels, that was placed in by the Democrats in the USA that is now being brought out in the open for causing voting fraud in recent days, this has been been put in place many years ago. Voting should always remain paper ballot, with pencil and multiple voting agents counting, and being recorded visually.
