Parliament Hill, Prime Minister’s residence rammed by vehicles

The political temperature is heating up in Ottawa.

Both Parliament Hill and the Canadian prime minister’s unoccupied residence were hit by vehicles on Wednesday, in separate incidents.

In the early hours of the morning a man was taken into custody for trying to breach Parliament Hill by ramming his vehicle through barricades.

Later Wednesday, another person crashed a bus into 24 Sussex Drive. Justin Trudeau does not reside at that address, and is currently on vacation.

The Canadian prime minister has previously faced assassination attempts. In 2020 a man was arrested after he rammed his vehicle through the gates of 24 Sussex with a plan to kill Justin Trudeau.

Calls to hang Trudeau for crimes such as treason are plentiful on social media. A woman reminded Trudeau during a town hall meeting that people convicted of treason used to be hanged in Canada.

Trudeau has been treasonous all along, but just like honour, pride of country has gone by the wayside. It’s a damaged country we live in; damaged by Trudeau and his ilk.
