Despite being given millions of dollars by the Trudeau government, a left-biased media company appears to be turning on its largest donor.
The Toronto Star, described by many as a “commie rag,” recently ran an article that admits Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau is losing support.
The article, written by columnist Chantal Hébert, confesses that Trudeau carries “baggage in the public’s mind” and that success in the next election will be an uphill battle. The article states:
The prime minister’s negatives are on the rise. A clear majority of Canadians feel the country is headed in the wrong direction. Is the deck stacked against Justin Trudeau in his upcoming match against a new Conservative leader?
Columnist Chantal Hebert goes on to slam Trudeau for spending too much time attacking Poilievre, and suggests he spend more time running a government that Canadians approve of.
Articles like this tend to be uncommon, especially since the Trudeau government awarded media companies millions of dollars of tax-payer money.
The prime minister was even caught “joking” about bribing the media during a press gallery dinner.
