The lead contender for the prime minister’s office continues to push back against the government’s steep tax hikes.
Pierre Poilievre, leader of the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC), slammed the Liberal-NDP coalition for voting to triple carbon taxes on people’s home heating.
In early October, the Liberals, NDP, and Bloc voted in favor of carbon tax hikes. Every single Liberal, NDP and Bloc MP voted in the House to support the planned tripling of the carbon tax.
Poilievre reminded his followers that Conservatives voted to scrap the carbon tax on Canadians’ home heating.
