Toronto mayoral candidate Chris Sky arrested – reports

An infamous anti-mask advocate has been arrested again, according to videos being shared on social media.

Chris (Sky) Saccoccia, a potential candidate for mayor of Toronto, has been arrested for “filming a police officer,” according to users on Twitter.

This is not the first time the controversial anti-mask advocate has faced problems with the law. Sky was arrested back in 2021 for making “death threats,” and allegedly driving a car at a police officer.

Sky was arrested at a rally in Winnipeg later that year for failing to self-isolate after entering the province.

Lawyer Caryma Sa’d indicated on Twitter later Sunday that Sky was not being held in custody, citing the fact he was still answering his phone.

Sa’d and Sky have long been at odds with each other. Sa’d is a lawyer-turned-amateur-journalist that took credit for Chris Sky losing his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Sky’s Twitter account was later re-instated when Elon Musk took over as Twitter’s CEO.

The infamous anti-masker has faced backlash after it came to light that he is vaccinated against Covid, something he has denied.

Sa’d has entered into a long-standing dispute with Toronto Antifa after she planned to host an event featuring Chris Sky in Chinatown.
