CSIS confirmed Tuesday that Trudeau is lying about the scope of Chinese interference.
The Canadian prime minister is being called out for lying in the House of Commons, this time by the country’s spy agency.
Justin Trudeau stated in the HoC that his government took appropriate action to inform MP Michael Chong of the threats towards his family.
However, that simply was not true, as revealed by a recent article by the Globe and Mail.
MP Chong told the Globe and Mail Tuesday that CSIS acknowledged he should have been alerted about CCP threats earlier.
Is his words, the failure to notify him of China’s targeting “represents either a breakdown of the machinery of government or a political failure by the Liberal government.”
Senator Leo Housakos called out Justin Trudeau for not declaring alleged CCP agent Zhao Wei a “persona non grata.”
As of the time of writing, Mr. Wei is still working out of the Chinese consulate in Toronto with full diplomatic immunity.
