DeSantis signs bill BANNING mandatory vaccines & masks in Florida

Unlike in Trudeau’s Canada, mandatory mask and vaccine requirements are not allowed in the state of Florida.

Ron DeSantis recently proved he is the polar opposite of Justin Trudeau in terms of how he chose to handle the Covid pandemic, which is now over, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Despite Covid no longer being considered a federal public health emergency in the United States, DeSantis has made it clear that he completely opposes mandatory masking and vaccination.

The governor recently signed a bill outlawing mandatory masking, vaccination, and Covid tests in the state of Florida.

Speaking to the media, the governor said:

“The danger is now, one of the reasons that we are doing this bill is, yes in Florida we are glad that we stood firm. But a lot of the elites and the bureaucrats think that this response is how you should do it again in the future if something like that happens.”

This is in stark contrast to the policies put forward by Canada’s prime minister. Trudeau included mandatory vaccination as part of his 2021 election platform (archived here).

Trudeau went as far as likening vaccine resisters to racists and misogynists. Canada’s prime minister later tried to gaslight Canadians, saying in 2023 that nobody was forced to take the vaccination.
