Trudeau’s hand-picked special rapporteur refuses to step aside, despite a majority of MPs voting to demand his resignation.
David Johnston, the prime minister’s friend and skiing partner, is refusing to step down. This comes after a majority of MPs in the House of Commons voted to have Trudeau’s special rapporteur step aside.
The motion passed in the House of Commons by 174 to 150, with Liberal MPs voting “no.”
However, Johnston continues to ignore the will of Parliament, and the will of the people. The special rapporteur stated that he does not take directions from MPs, only from his master Trudeau.
In response, blogger and political commentator Spencer Fernando dished out some harsh criticism at Johnston. In a recent article, Fernando wrote:
“Johnston is a disgrace to the nation. He’s doing Trudeau’s bidding and empowering China to further subvert our democratic institutions.
…
At this point, Canadians have to ask the following question: What are Trudeau and his cronies hiding that they are so desperate to avoid an independent public inquiry?”
