A Toronto Sun columnist has exposed more potential cases of arson in eastern Canada.
As wildfires rip through eastern and western Canada, the left-wing media has been quick to point the finger at “climate change” and any reports to the contrary as “conspiracy theories.”
However, a recent article by Joe Warmington of the Toronto Sun destroys the left-wing narrative. Warmington wrote that police in Quebec have relayed to him that they suspect arson is a possible cause for multiple fires in the province.
The column, titled Cops suspect arson caused wildfire in at least one part of Quebec, states:
The Toronto Sun has learned Quebec police are investigating the possibility that the smoke creating poor air quality in southern Ontario and making downtown skylines disappear may have been the result of arson.
“There is an investigation because the cause is suspect,” said Surtee de Quebec media officer Hugues Beaulieu.
This narrative has not made as many headlines — and is polar opposite to what the likes of U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Environment Minister Steven Guibeault have been saying.

In a tweet posted Wednesday, Warmington references a French-language article that mentions a string of “suspicious” fires in the province.
It is notable that no other English-language publication besides the Toronto Sun reported on these claims.
Warmington goes on to state that Quebec Police have launched a criminal probe into the forest fires, and that they have a “command post trailer in Chapais.”
Reports of arson are not limited to Quebec. RCMP in Nova Scotia are hunting for the individuals responsible for lighting three separate fires north of Halifax.
Similarly, RCMP in Alberta have made several arrests in relation to arson in the northern part of the province. Several suspects remain at large.
A man in Calgary was arrested after confessing to starting a “brush fire” in the Inglewood neighbourhood.
Meanwhile, Vancouver Police are hunting down arsonists after a dozen blazes broke out in one day in the downtown core.
While most politicians have shrugged their shoulders, blaming climate change, the premier of Alberta has taken action.
Danielle Smith has vowed to track down the arsonists responsible for lighting fires in the province, bringing in outside experts to conduct investigations and to assist police in making arrests.
