The mainstream media in Canada is being criticized for colluding to smear Trudeau’s top rival.
Andrew Scheer, Conservative MP for the Saskatchewan riding of Regina—Qu’Appelle, is calling out the mainstream media in Canada after several outlets published the exact same hit piece on Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre.
The same article with the same headline was published by CTV News, Toronto Star, CBC News, and CityNews. The article was titled, Pierre’s Conservative party embracing language of mainstream conspiracy theories.
Separate media networks publishing the same hit-piece lead conservatives, including Scheer, to come to the conclusion that they working in unison to make Poilievre look bad.
“No wonder Trudeau wants to censor all but four or five Liberals news sources: they all coordinate in attacking Poilievre with the same false headline,” Scheer wrote in an X (Twitter) post on Monday.
The mainstream media has faced accusations of being subservient to the Liberal Party, due to hefty bail-outs provided by the Trudeau government.
Even some journalists employed by the mainstream media in Canada have spoken up about this. Trudeau himself even “joked” that he gave several media outlets money in an effort to bribe them.
The article in dispute was written by the wire service Canadian Press and was republished word-for-word by several media outlets. This was in response to an e-mail sent by the Poilievre team vowing to fight against the globalists located in Davos.
Toronto 99 has previously reported on the World Economic Forum (WEF).
