Toronto Star ADMITS Justin Trudeau is losing the support of his MPs

Trudeau’s well-funded propaganda apparatus is beginning to turn on him.

Despite giving mainstream media outlets millions of taxpayer dollars, presumably to buy favourable coverage, it appears that the Canadian prime minister is losing control of his propagandists.

The Toronto Star, a left-leaning news outlet and beneficiary of Trudeau’s media bailouts, has released an article that presents the sitting prime minister in a negative light.

Titled Privately, some Liberal MPs say they’re frustrated with Justin Trudeau’s government, the article provides an unusually damning analysis of the prime minister’s closest allies behind closed doors:

Some Liberals say the mood inside their parliamentary caucus has soured in recent weeks over concerns about the government’s performance, as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau prepares to huddle with his newly overhauled cabinet in Charlottetown.

This is in stark contrast to what the Toronto Star usually reports. Like most of the beneficiaries of Trudeau’s media bailouts, reporting of the prime minister tends to be quite favourable.

This is not the first time the Toronto Star has reported negatively on the prime minister. Toronto 99 previously reported on another instance when the Toronto Star disobeyed Trudeau’s marching orders and painted him in a bad light.

Media outlets in Canada are often criticized by conservatives (and some liberals) as being too Trudeau-centric. These outlets claim that they maintain editorial independence despite receiving cash from the Liberal government.

Trudeau made matters worse after “joking” that he bribed the media to provide favourable coverage. Naturally, fact-checkers were quick to point out that Trudeau’s comments were taken “out of context.”
