The crown attorneys tasked with prosecuting freedom fighter Tamara Lich are being called out by the judge on the case after an unexpected document dump.
The contents of the document dump were previously not disclosed to the defense, and may cause a delay in the trial as defence attorneys struggle to review the new evidence.
Judge Heather Perkins-McVey was unimpressed and let her disapproval be known, as was reported by David Krayden of the Post Millennial.
The prosecutors were previously reprimanded by the judge for other cases of misconduct in the ongoing trial against Lich.
The Lich trial has been described as a political prosecution against a peaceful Canadian that was exercising her democratic right to protest.
