MUTINY: Anthony Housefather FLIPS on Trudeau, admits celebrating SS Nazi was a ‘mistake’

A Liberal MP has publicly admitted that the Canadian prime minister messed up, a sign of trouble for Trudeau.

Anthony Housefather, a Liberal MP representing the Mount Royal riding in Montreal, admitted on X (Twitter) that celebrating a Nazi war criminal in the House of Commons was a “mistake.”

Housefather stopped short of blaming Trudeau directly, and suggested that an apology would suffice for an incident that lead to condemnation from Jewish rights organizations across the globe.

House Speaker Anthony Rota apologized Sunday after it became public that he invited Nazi war criminal Yaroslav Hunka to Parliament on Friday when Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy was present.

However, Canadians far and wide are not accepting Rota’s apology and are demanding his resignation. A petition by the Canadian Democracy Coalition has been launched, demanding he step down.

While the signatures collected have been modest at the time of writing, the petition and accompanying hashtag #RotaMustResign are quickly gaining steam on X.
