Wife beating, drunk driver becomes Manitoba premier

A far-left politician with a history of criminal charges will now hold Manitoba’s highest office.

If you had a history of beating your partner, or driving drunk, or robbing taxi drivers, you would struggle to get a customer service job at McDonalds.

Politician Wab Kinew has been credibly accused of all three crimes, having been charged by police and convicted by the court on some counts.

That didn’t stop the far-left NDP, or uninformed voters in Manitoba, from electing him the premier of the province.

Kinew has won a majority of votes in the province, as was reported by several mainstream media outlets. However, most outlets focused on the fact he is First Nations, and not the fact he is a convicted criminal.

Kinew has faced numerous criminal charges in his lifetime, include two counts of assault for allegedly tossing his-then girlfriend across the room during an argument.
